That means I’m lazy in Spanish, so here is a small review of the Creamfields festival that I attended. I wrote it for something else, so its not that detailed but fuck it, Its my blog and I can cry if I want to

I’m back, tired, still kind of sick so here is my short review:
Finally got into the venue around 8:30pm, saw Mark Farina at 9, super fun set, crowd was really enjoying it and there was still room to dance at this point. Awesome lights inside, all in all a great way to start the festival for me.
Left an hour into his 2 hour set to get a good spot for LCD Soundsystem on the main stage. Got within 30 feet, and the large screens made it easy to see the details. The set was fire, my favorite of the festival. The sound quality was amazing, especially the bass and drums, finished the show with an extended version of “Yeah” The crowd didnt respond as energetically as one might hope, James kept commenting on how cold it was too.
Had 45 minutes between LCD ending and CHemical Brothers headlining the mainstage. Grabbed some water, burger and by the time I returned the crowd had doubled in size. I’ll comment about the crowd later, the set was great, maybe 2 songs off the new album including the title track and not the Salmon Song. The visuals were insane, they seemed to be having fun on stage. Great re-working of Star Guitar and a Block Rocking Beats encore. Show was fun, twas no Daft Punk but what is.
After, checked out 2 Many Dj’s for an hour or so, spun a great set, like the best music for a dance party possible, plenty of Daft Punk, Justice (of course) and Human League (Don’t you Wan’t me Baby, is that song big in the states now too or just here?) Left after it got too crowded, tried to squeeze into DigDeep but it was the same situation over there. Wandered back to the mainstage, saw a bit of Carl Cox, tried to get in to Digweed, stayed for about 10 minutes, went back to 2 Many DJ’s, snuck in on the side and got a front row spot and watched them for 30 minutes, closing their set with “Killer Queen” Went back to Digweed, saw his last 10 minutes, got squished, them went to Carl Cox for the las 90 minutes of his set, which was fun but his stage banter is hillariously stupid. 10 songs in he says “This one’s for you Creamfields” no shit, Carl. Left after his set at lik 5:30am, plenty of people still rolling their way to the afterparty’s, not sober me.
I was sober the entire fest, had just partly gotten over the flu, still felt like shit, didn’t touch a thing while I was there. If I had to guess, I would say that 1 of every 2 persons were rolling, plenty of coke, even saw some guys huffing something. Dirtiest fest I have ever been to, I didn’t see a single garbage can their, only a few trash piles. This fest had at least 50k people, saw the usual hippie fest shennanigans, puking, pissing, passing out in the crowd.
The music was great, they just had too many people there. The tents were soooo crowded, couldn’t dance in there except for the mainstage which was outside and you had room in the back. That and the trash are my major complaints, overall, well worth the 33 dollar admission for a night of great music.
