Ok, so I guess this is my first blog, I feel so cool, unlike the Cool Kids whom, despite their name, are not all that cool.
Thats right, I went and saw this Chicago hip-hop group who go by that name, with my good buddy and hopeful blog reader Drew Paterson tonight and was extremely disapointed. How can a group with so much hype be so boring. Hip-hop is a hard thing to do live, you either need an awesome backing band, beats that stick out or a flow or style that makes you original, like MF Doom, something recognizable. This show was not worth ten dollars, but perhaps 5 at most. I regret not stealing a copy of Urb magazine that I’m sure was worth atleast 4 dollars, that would have atleast justified the cover price somewhat.
Anyways, I leave for Argentina in 18 days, I’m stoked and nervous at the same time, more in a state of disbelief that I will actually been in a entire new country in a matter of days. I need the change of pace though, and am hoping to have a marvelous time, bla bla blog over.
